AUTOMATIC PLATE FEEDING

BATCH ENGRAVING OPERATION!!

Automatic Plate Feeding is hugely beneficial when processing production and batch quantities of machine plates, tags, ID plates and other product indentification label media.

The Gravograph plate feeder accessory (APF) works with our IS400 and GTM40 model rotary engravers as an add-on.
Loaded in a magazine, tags or plates ranging from .8"L x .4"W x .020"T to 4.7"L x 3.9"W x .125"T can be automatically fed to the engraver for marking. At the minimum thickness stacks of identical tags can be processed in quantities up to 312 at a time!

The APF accessory is easily installed via simple hardware and a Plug-and-Play I/O Cable. Store it separately when not in use and use the engraver in its standard configuration. There is no need for air or lubrication when processing stacks of plates. The back pressure from the magazine moves the unmarked tags into position for engraving and ejects the marked part for easy collection.

The APF interfaces with our GravoStyle5 or QuickClick software packages so there is practically no learning curve prior to use. If you are operating in a production environment this accessory is a must for cost effective processing.

  2. Dear IS400 User,

Your IS400 can easily be updated to run the Auto Plate Feeder.

I assume you are running Gravostyle 5.x. With the acquisition of the APF we would provide you a free update for your software.

The plates need to have a length between 0.8 and 4.7 inches. The width needs to be between 0.2 and 3.9 inches. The thickness needs to be between .020 and .125 inches. It is very easy to adjust the Auto Plate Feeder to fit different sized plates.

    I hope this helps.
