Do It Yourself - Family Portrait!

We love our families here at Gravograph. And we love showing off our favorite family photos around the office. But we thought, "Hey, how can we make these images even more personalized? More one of a kind? And how can we make them interactive?" 

Our idea: A family portrait puzzle!

We took our Gravolase Metallics, LS100 laser engraver and the best engraving software around, GravoStyle™, and made a fun family puzzle. The video is below for how we did everything. 

Things to note:

- Cut out the puzzle layer first

- Make sure that you have a high res/high contrast image

- Power settings that we used:

• Black Raster: 20% Power, 80% Speed
• Blue Cutout: 10% Power, 70% Speed, 2x Passes
• Orange Cutout: 40% Power, 50% Speed, 2x Passes
