How to Point and Shoot engrave and more!

You just got your brand new, shiny Gravograph Rotary Engraver. You take it out of the box, install the best engraving software, and you're off to engraving land. Place your item in the vice, add your text in the software, press the green button and you're done! Hooray!

....Until you get a harder, more difficult object to engrave. Say, a 1" x .5" engraving area in the top right corner of a rounded object... that's fragile... And you only have one chance at engraving it. Simply putting the object in the center of the vice just won't work. You need Point and Shoot!

We get asked a lot here at Gravograph, "How do I Point and Shoot engrave?" Thus, on our last Tim & Tom TechShow, we made sure to show you how to Point and Shoot engrave right out of the gate. Our example here is with our M40DeepVice. Sit back and take some notes:

How to Point and Shoot with the M40DV

In fact, we just got done with a whole TechShow series about the M40DV! Here are a few more great videos about the M40DV.

How to use the keypad on the M40DV

How to set the auto-z on the M40DV

And that's just the tip of the iceberg. Checkout our Tim & Tom YouTube Channel for more videos on the M40DV, LS100 and IS400!

Now you know how to Point and Shoot, use the keypad and set the auto-z. Happy engraving!
